Specialized Degree Options for Your Individual Interests

University of Colorado EMBA students have unique options to expand the content and impact of their Executive MBA degree Students may select programs from the University of Colorado Denver or Colorado Springs Business Schools. We offer three options to expand the content and impact of your Executive MBA degree.

Option #1: Dual Executive MBA/Master of Science degrees

Upon completion of the University of Colorado Executive MBA, graduates may earn a second master's degree from the University of Colorado Denver in an accelerated time frame; credit for core courses earned in the Executive MBA is applied to the requirements for the Master of Science degree. Participants may choose from seven different business disciplines.

Option #2: Executive MBA with an area of specialization through the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Business School

Upon completion of the University of Colorado Executive MBA, graduates may earn a specialization in one of several different business disciplines through the graduate school of business at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Participants take between three and four additional courses to earn an emphasis in an area of business that is of particular interest. These are courses offered on the CU Colorado Spring Campus or distance courses offered via the Internet.

Option #3: Executive MBA with a specialization through the University of Colorado Denver Business School

Upon completion of the University of Colorado Executive MBA, graduates may earn a specialization in one of several different disciplines through the University of Colorado Denver Business School. Participants take additional courses to earn a specialization in an area of business that is of particular interest. These are courses offered on the University of Colorado Denver Campus or distance courses offered via the Internet.
